The Third Sunday in Lent

March 3, 2024

9:30 AM

RESOURCES FOR A LIFE CHANGING LENT
The Season of Lent begins February 14.

Traditionally, Christians throughout the ages have intentionally set aside this 40 day season of the Church by intentionally giving up or taking on disciplines designed to bring them closer to Christ. This year we are encouraging church members the church to join a five week class on an ancient way of hearing the Spirit through Scripture: Lectio Divina, led by our deacons. Other suggested disciplines include Fasting and Feasting, a creative way to incorporate different Lenten disciplines through the week.

For more information about these groups, as well as other ways to "do Lent", press the buttons below.

THE ART OF EXAMINE | ADULT STUDY DISCUSSION AFTER CHURCH
Join us this Lent season as we delve into a form of prayer attributed to St. Ignatius of Loyola. Each week we will be focusing on a different practice embodied by Jesus and lived out by the monastics: Prayer, Mission, Mercy, Justice, Creativity, Learning, and Hospitality. All are invited to discover a new way of prayer,
examining what God it doing in your life each and every day.
