ENCOUNTER WEEKENDS FILLING UP:
Where are all the men? Yes, the Encounter weekends are for men, too, and provide a safe place to share deeply, perhaps things they've never confessed before, in order to be healed and set free. We have five women attending the Women's Encounter. The men's Encounter is still "open." Partial scholarships are available. See Pastor Bill. Information page here
Men's Encounter: December 3 - 5, 2021
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OTHERS
The Encounter Weekend provides extended times where God's love is poured out through the Person of the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). It doesn't come cheap though - about $275 a shot (for the weekend). If you'd to secretly gift a person to go (partially or fully), see Donna T.
FACEMASKING | SOCIAL DISTANCING
While everyone has a choice not to mask, face-masking is "strongly encouraged" while inside the buildings on church property. While taking communion please remain 6 feet apart with sensitivity to those more susceptible to health issues than others (1 Corinthians 8:9).
THREE WAYS TO PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH
The Prayer Hive is always a place to go to pray for individuals in the church.
Wednesday Morning Zoom Intercession groups. 8:00 AM. All are welcomed.
Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear our prayers, and grant that in our congregation the pure Word of God may be preached and the Sacraments duly administered. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; protect and guide the children; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; arouse the careless; recover the fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hinderances to the advancement of your truth; and bring us all to be one heart and mind within your holy Church, to the honor and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
