A BIT ABOUT BISHOP ANDREW WILLIAMS

Bishop Andrew is the lead shepherd over the Anglican Diocese of New England. We are a broad area of churches. As bishop, his call is to pastor the priests, ordain, confirm, and receive those into the world-wide Anglican Communion. Bishop Andrew has a unique call on his life, loves Jesus, and is on the forefront of what God is doing across the globe. We are honored to have him on his annual visitation. Read more about him on the Diocesan webpage here.

OPEN HOUSE THIS SUNDAY FROM 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

This Sunday - and in celebration with the Bishop's visit - we are hosting a community-wide open house where folks can come, peruse the campus, and enjoy the presence of God in his people. There will be soup and sandwiches in the Grange Hall, beverages and hors d'oeuvres in the Church Offices and in the East Andover Preschool. All are welcomed! Come on out and celebrate in the festivities with your church families! All are welcomed at the Installation & Confirmation services, beginning at 10:00 AM.

WONDERING WHAT TO WEAR ON SUNDAY?

Wear something red. It's the color of the day and symbolizes the fire of the Holy Spirit!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD EXTENDED ONE MORE WEEK

Next week, November 21, we will be blessing the outgoing boxes to be mailed for children around the world. Bring your boxes to church and place them near the altar,

CHRISTMAS CHURCH DECORATION DAY

Join us on Saturday, November 27, for a morning of decorating the church for the Advent and Christmas seasons. 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. For more information how you can help see Alice G.

CHECK OUT THE NEW PHOTOS

When you go into the Grange Hall for hot beverages and snacks be sure to peruse the newly hung original photographs displayed around the room. Thank you Cindy Benson for sharing with us your gifts! All photos are for sale as gifts as well.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OTHERS

The Encounter Weekend provides extended times where God's love is poured out through the Person of the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). It doesn't come cheap though - about $275 a shot (for the weekend). If you'd to secretly gift a person to go (partially or fully), see Donna T.

FACEMASKING | SOCIAL DISTANCING

While everyone has a choice not to mask, face-masking is "strongly encouraged" while inside the buildings on church property. While taking communion please remain 6 feet apart with sensitivity to those more susceptible to health issues than others (1 Corinthians 8:9).

THREE WAYS TO PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH

  • The Prayer Hive is always a place to go to pray for individuals in the church.

  • Wednesday Morning Zoom Intercession groups. 8:00 AM. All are welcomed.

  • Right now:

Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear our prayers, and grant that in our congregation the pure Word of God may be preached and the Sacraments duly administered. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; protect and guide the children; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; arouse the careless; recover the fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hindrances to the advancement of your truth; and bring us all to be one heart and mind within your holy Church, to the honor and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

BLESSED IN GIVING ALL 'ROUND

We are so grateful for your continued giving. Giving is best done:

  • In the offering plates at the rear of the church (as you enter)

  • Online giving here.

  • Given directly to Donna T.

Special funds such as the discretionary/deacon's fund and the Mission of the Month fund can be specifically targeted by earmarking your check accordingly.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
