What is Anglicanism & the Anglican Church?
This is the first in a series that covers what Anglicans believe, here I look at what the Anglican Church is defined as, what Anglicanism is and what the sources of Anglican belief and practice are. Some opinions expressed in this video I have changed my mind on, you can see my new views here: https://youtu.be/K5H1t_ArKmY and more thoroughly, here: https://newkingdom.home.blog/beliefs/ DISCLAIMER: This video defines the Anglican Church as the worldwide 'Anglican Communion' and focuses on what has traditionally defined the Anglican Church, namely, communion with the Church of England. Anglican groups like ACNA will not strictly speaking fall under this definition but still believe it is important to trace their historical lineage back to the Church of England of old, and adhere to the sources of Anglicanism that this video looks at. Moreover, groups like the ACNA maintain ties with GAFCON and the Anglican Churches of Africa that are still in communion with Canterbury.
