Whether on the silver screen or in person, we are glad you're here! We especially welcome those online zooming in to check us out!
KIDZCHURCH THIS WEEK
We're cranking up another year of KidzChurch beginning this Sunday! Children will stay in the church through the opening worship, then it's off to the Grange Hall! Parents are welcomed.
FACEMASKING | SOCIAL DISTANCING
While everyone has a choice to wear one or not, face-masking is "strongly encouraged" while inside the buildings on church property, including service times. While taking communion we recommend staying 6 feet apart with sensitivity to those more susceptible to health issues than others (see 1 Corinthians 8:9).
If you'd like to contribute to fellowship hour - either with food or muscle in setting up the table and tent - please email Judy. This week's fellowship happens outside between the services and after the 10:00 AM service.
ALPHA UPDATE: THERE'S STILL TIME
Even if you missed the "Come and See" dinner banquet last week, guests are still invited to attend the ALPHA program. Swing by the Grange Hall this Tuesday at 6:15 PM.
WHERE HAVE ALL THE HOTDOGS GONE?
Many have wondered about the annual picnic. Where did it go? Between weather, health issues, and scheduling we have succumbed to the fact that it's just not going to happen. However, resources are being redirected to November 14 when Bishop Andrew will be visiting. More on that to come!
SEPTEMBER MISSION OF THE MONTH: THE JOSEPH FUND
Based upon the story of Joseph and his management of resources in Egypt. Genesis 41 tells the story of Joseph spending seven years saving resources to be ready for a seven-year famine. Joseph’s foresight and planning enabled the nation to be ready to respond to an otherwise devastating situation. The Joseph fund is actively supporting Haiti and other places around the globe. Checks can be earmarked: ARDF. Discover more about it here.
REAWAKENING CONFERENCE, "PUTTING ON THE ARMOR OF LIGHT" OCTOBER 8-9
A near perfect follow up for those who have completed ALPHA.
Women's Encounter: November 19 - 21, 2021
Men's Encounter: December 3 - 5, 2021
These weekends fill up fast and many are disappointed they couldn't get in. See Pastor Cinnamon for more information on how you can attend. Diocesan information page here.
GOT A TASTE FOR ASCETICS?
Pastor Bill is seeking a person(s) to assist him in creating ways to deepen our worship experience through art, lighting, and symbols. Light construction skills would be helpful. Feeling crafty? Shoot him an email today.
BLESSED IN GIVING ALL 'ROUND
As a church in the Anglican Diocese of New England, we tithe 10% to the Diocesan center. Our people give to this church for electricity, wine, microphones, copy machine rental, etc., and we tithe to the diocesan center so they can do the same. We are so grateful for your continued giving. Giving is best done:
In the offering plates at the rear of the church (as you enter)
Online giving here.
Given directly to Donna T.
Special funds such as the discretionary/deacon's fund and the Mission of the Month fund can be specifically targeted by earmarking your check accordingly.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
