HEALING SERVICE AT 10:00 AM

Join us this week for a special Fifth Sunday Public Service of Healing at the 10:00 AM Service. All will be invited to receive the anointing of oil by Pastors Bill and Cinnamon, with extended prayers offered from the healing teams. If you know of those seeking healing, by all means invite them to church to receive God's blessing through the laying on of hands.

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD." Jerimiah 30:17

PRAYER TEAM GATHERING

A gathering of the prayer team, including those interested in the ministry, will happen just after the 10:00 AM service. See Linda M. for details.

OCTOBER MISSION OF THE MONTH: OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Each year we send shoeboxes of love all around the world. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Ideas for age-based children are here. This year our goal is 70 boxes. Curious to learn more? See Donna T.

OPEN HOUSE FOR THE COMMUNITY - NOVEMBER 14 FROM 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

On November 14 - and in celebration with the Bishop's visit, installation, and confirmations, we are hosting a community and church-wide open house. It will be a time when folks can come, meet the Bishop, and peruse the campus. There will be soup and sandwiches in the Grange Hall, beverages and snacks in the Church Offices and the East Andover Preschool. Perhaps you know of folks who would like to visit the church again, or even inquire as to how to enroll their child in the preschool? This day is for them. Also see the blurb in the Andover Beacon in November.  If you'd like to to help out with set-up, or clean up, speak with Alice G. Sunday.

STRANGE PEOPLE INVADE THE PLAYGROUND

We had a tribe of suspicious children roaming the grounds of the East Andover Preschool on Thursday. Police women, pirates, and even Cinderella showed up (with their parents) to partake in holiday treats. You can see pictures on our community page here!

WE ARE ANGLICANS FOR LIFE

Aspire Women's Center is changing and saving lives. A fall fundraiser video and information page is visible to view by clicking HERE. Why not lift up a prayer for this vital ministry now?

ENCOUNTER WEEKENDS FILLING UP:

Where are all the men?

Yes, the Encounter weekends are for men, too. Men need safe spaces to share deeply, perhaps things they've never confessed before, to be healed and set free. This November we have five women attending the Women's Encounter. The men's Encounter is still "open." See dates below. Partial scholarships are available. See Pastor Bill. Information page here

  • Women's Encounter: November 19 - 21, 2021

  • Men's Encounter: December 3 - 5, 2021

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR OTHERS

The Encounter Weekend provides extended times where God's love is poured out through the Person of the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). It doesn't come cheap though - about $275 a shot (for the weekend). If you'd to secretly gift a person to go (partially or fully), see Donna T.

FACEMASKING | SOCIAL DISTANCING

While everyone has a choice not to mask, face-masking is "strongly encouraged" while inside the buildings on church property. While taking communion please remain 6 feet apart with sensitivity to those more susceptible to health issues than others (1 Corinthians 8:9).

THREE WAYS TO PRAY FOR YOUR CHURCH

  • The Prayer Hive is always a place to go to pray for individuals in the church.

  • Wednesday Morning Zoom Intercession groups. 8:00 AM. All are welcomed.

  • Right now:

Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear our prayers, and grant that in our congregation the pure Word of God may be preached and the Sacraments duly administered. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; protect and guide the children; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; arouse the careless; recover the fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hinderances to the advancement of your truth; and bring us all to be one heart and mind within your holy Church, to the honor and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

BLESSED IN GIVING ALL 'ROUND

We are so grateful for your continued giving. Giving is best done:

  • In the offering plates at the rear of the church (as you enter)

  • Online giving here.

  • Given directly to Donna T.

Special funds such as the discretionary/deacon's fund and the Mission of the Month fund can be specifically targeted by earmarking your check accordingly.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Luke 6:38
