LOVELY TO SEE YOU AGAIN MY FRIEND!
Vestry leadership has determined it "safe and prudent" to drop the facemask option for services and outdoor fellowship. In addition, pews will be "un-roped" to we may sit anywhere we'd like. Please be sensitive, however, for those who are still maintaining social distancing.
Thank you for your patience as we slowly return to the new normal.
BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN: COMMUNION CHANGES THIS WEEK
We continue to celebrate communion on the first and third Sunday of the month at the 10:00 service (communion every Sunday at the 8:00 AM service) with a few changes beginning this week:
Tables Gone. We will no longer have tables with bread, juice, and wine in the front of the church.
Priests and Deacons In. Communion bread will be given by the priest. Receive the bread by cupping one one hand above the other and the bread will be placed in the palms of your hand.
Juice and wine will be taken as usual, returning the empty cup to the tray. Cross your arms across your chest if you will not be taking communion and the priest will bless you. It is not necessary to do this with the juice, or wine, only at the bread station.
THE "INVITATIONS" CLASS
Invitations is a class for those interested in becoming members of the church and those seeking to be received or confirmed. The class will be held across two consecutive Sundays, August 8 + 15, from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. A light lunch will be provided. Sign-ups are mandatory to Jef DeMarie.
ALPHA TO REIGNITE IN SEPTEMBER
The ALPHA program is a 10 week course where participants are invited to share a meal. hear a teaching on an aspect of the Faith, and openly share their thoughts and viewpoints. Guests of the course are people searching the meaning of life, or those seeking to clarify what they believe (and why), or to brush up on the basics. We strongly recommend newcomers to the church to take the ALPHA Course, as it runs deep in the DNA of the place.
For more information about the course and how you may either sign up or serve, email Linda here.
THE CENTURIAN IRENE
Mark your calendars for July 31when an open house/honoring of life party for our own Irene Jewett. The celebration runs from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at her home. More information to follow.

TITHES AND OFFERINGS
The leadership thanks the church members for their faithful giving week to week. Giving can be done in two ways:
Offering plates at the rear of the church (as you enter)
Online giving here
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
